Heat Advisory issued for this afternoon
The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a Heat Advisory in effect from 11:00 AM this morning until 8:00 PM this evening. According to the National Weather Service, heat indices, which is a combination of temperature with humidity, could reach as high as 106 in certain areas of inland Worcester and Somerset, and as high as 100 in Accomack and Northampton County.

Early College Scholar Makes the Climb
Western Albemarle High School senior Reagan Gresge graduated this spring with a full Associate’s degree in addition to her high school diploma after being one of the first participants in the school division’s Early College Scholars Program.
