NORMAL (25News Now) - A 17-year-old boy will be tried as an adult for a shooting earlier this month that critically wounded a man at an apartment complex in north Normal. The man remains in critical condition after Normal Police found him on Traders Circle just after midnight on Saturday, July 20.

Normal firefighters take time to repair bikes after apartment fire
NORMAL – The Normal Fire Department was able to help out with more than just putting out an apartment fire on Monday. According to the fire department, crews responded to a kitchen fire Monday morning at an apartment in the 600 block of Orlando Avenue. A sprinkler activated and contained the fire until firefighters could fully extinguish it.
