    Stanton police apprehend Indiana man wanted in connection with shooting

    STANTON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — The Stanton Police Department said it was looking for a man after a juvenile was reportedly shot early Monday.

    In a Facebook post, the department said Michael Wilson of Muncie, Indiana, was wanted in connection with the shooting.

    Police described Wilson as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, and a slim build.

    According to authorities, Wilson may have been traveling with a “female companion” and was considered armed and dangerous.

    Around 11:40 a.m., the Stanton Police Department said Wilson had been apprehended.

    Court records show Wilson was charged with first-degree assault following the execution of a complaint warrant and was arrested around 11 a.m.

    Wilson’s bond was set at $100,000 on Monday, per court documents.
