3 youths caught in two Rocky Mount crime sprees of several car break-ins and thefts; some loot is recovered
ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WNCN) — Three juveniles were nabbed after two sprees of breaking into cars and stealing items in Rocky Mount Monday night, officials said. The investigation began Tuesday morning when deputies were told there were several cars broken into in the West Edgecombe area of Rocky Mount, according to an Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Man dies at hospital following afternoon shooting in Fayetteville
Fayetteville Police are investigating after a shooting that left a man dead.Officers responded Tuesday shortly before 3 p.m. to a 911 call in the 200 block of Early Street.Officers found a man who had been shot.
