Detectives not facing charges after fatally shooting man near South Kerr Avenue
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – No law enforcement will be facing charges in connection to the fatal shooting by deputies that killed 34-year-old Steven Ryan Todd on June 13. The announcement was made at a press conference on July 19 regarding the shooting where deputies fired 51 times at a man who had crashed into a police vehicle, according to District Attorney Ben David.
