ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - The impacts of the global technology outage are being experienced Eastern Carolina. Albert J Ellis Airport in Jacksonville saw several flight delays and cancellations this morning for American and Delta airlines. According to the airport director, Mitch Sprunger, hubs for Charlotte and Atlanta were impacted.

Search Warrant Results in Felony Arrest
On July 17, 2024, after an extensive and ongoing narcotics investigation, detectives from the New Bern Police Department in coordination with the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) executed a search warrant on a residence located at 712 Bern Street and on Vibez VIP located at 1036 Broad Street. On July 18, 2024, the New Bern Police Department, Craven County Sheriff’s Office and the North Carolina ALE executed a third search warrant related to this investigation at 903 Vail Street.
