The art of theatre is alive and well in Happy Valley as No Refund Theatre, Penn State’s largest student-run theatre organization, has announced its season for the upcoming fall 2024 semester. The season consists of seven shows, including six plays and a musical.

Most of these shows will occur at 9 p.m. on Thursdays and at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. All of these productions will take place in Forum 111 and will be free of charge.

Here’s the complete fall 2024 production schedule:

    ‘No Exit’: September 19-21

Co-directed by LT Centolanza and Sarah Clapham, “Fool for Love” follows Garcin, Inez, and Estelle, who are trapped in Hell. The trio realizes that they are damned for eternity with just themselves and a set of couches.

    ‘Fool For Love’: October 3-5

Co-directed by LT Centolanza and Sarah Clapham, “Fool for Life” follows May, who is staying in a desert motel, when an old flame Eddie reenters her life. ‘The Odd Couple’: October 24-26,

Directed by Colby Gleason, “The Odd Couple” takes place in Oscar Madison’s apartment during a game of poker. When Oscar’s friend Felix Ungar arrives after separating from his wife, Oscar invites his friend to stay with him. The show descends into hilarity as the two try to live together despite different habits.

‘Dracula: A Comedy Of Terrors’: October 31 – November 2

Directed by Teagan Palatt, “Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors” follows Lucy Westfeldt and her fiancé Jonathan Harker as they try to save Lucy’s sister by enlisting vampire hunter Doctor Jean Van Helsing. Five actors play more than 12 roles in this rendition of Bram Stoker’s novel.
