Reintroducing Onward State’s Penn State Football Student Ticket Exchange

Get your tickets out, folks. Penn State football is almost back.

With getting student tickets to see the Nittany Lions so hit-and-miss, plenty of Penn Staters are missing out on getting the best seats in Beaver Stadium in the best student section in the country. If you fell victim to the robots deciding you deserved tickets less than whatever Joe-Shmoe got them, Onward State is here to help.

Whether you’re trying to offload your seat at the Bowling Green game or trying to secure your place in Beaver Stadium against Ohio State, you can use Onward State’s student ticket exchange, unofficially the official football student ticket exchange of Penn State. We don’t charge any fees or make you take any unnecessary steps — we’re just here to try and keep Beaver Stadium at #107KStrong.

We give students a single platform to access and discuss ticket listings. All available tickets will be easily accessible to those interested. Here’s how it works:

If you’re selling…

• Go to the Ticket Exchange form to post your ticket
• Log in with your Penn State email address
• Select the game you’re selling your ticket for and your price
• Wait to hear from interested buyers
• Transfer your ticket to your buyer
• Notify Onward State when you transfer your ticket so we can remove it to keep our listings up to date. It’s the only way for us to know that your ticket was sold.

If you’re buying…

• Go to our listings page to view tickets for sale
• Click the link to email the seller you’re interested in buying from
• Pay the seller in whatever agreed-upon way (Venmo is convenient, but services like PayPal and Apple Pay work, too. If you need to cancel a purchase for any reason, PayPal and Apple Pay might be the way to go.)
• Enjoy the game!

To be clear: Onward State is just a matching service. We don’t charge fees, and we are not responsible for what happens during the process of buying and selling a ticket. If you tell someone you want to buy their ticket or sell yours, please go through on your end of the deal. It’s only right.

When your ticket is sold, please let us know. It makes sure that you aren’t getting spammed with more emails than an ASTRO 7N professor and keeps our exchange list is as compact as possible.
