Penn State has added another elite up-and-coming prospect to its list of expected visitors this upcoming Friday, July 26, as Coatesville offensive lineman Maxwell Hiller confirmed via social media Sunday evening that he plans to return to Happy Valley for the Lasch Bash.
Already checking in at 6-foot-5, 290 pounds, Hiller is just now entering his sophomore year of high school. Penn State was the first school to extend a scholarship offer in May 2023, which came before he ever played a down of varsity football at the high school level. Now, Hiller is up to seven offers total. His list includes Power Four programs like Maryland, Oklahoma, Pitt, Syracuse and West Virginia.
Hiller was one of the more impressive prospects to camp at Penn State this summer, outperforming multiple 2025 and 2026 prospects. He’s on pace to be one of the state’s top prospects in the 2027 class.
Below is the updated list of expected visitors for this weekend’s Lasch Bash Barbecue.
