Pioneer Fire now over 30,000 acres; Stehekin protection remains top priority
STEHEKIN — The Pioneer Fire has now burned 30,352 acres as the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office says protecting Stehekin is a top priority. Stehekin remains under a Level 1 fire advisory, though the Sheriff’s Office says Stehekin residents have been briefed that Chelan County Emergency Management is prepared for a Level 2, or be prepared to evacuate, notice if deemed necessary.
