Out-of-State Teams to Receive $1,000 Minimum to Start Novelis Supermodified Feature on Saturday, July 20
OSWEGO, NY (July 11, 2024) – Oswego Speedway is excited to announce a special incentive for out-of-state teams participating in the two-day Super Spectacle this weekend, July 19 and 20. Any team from outside New York State that competes in Saturday night’s Novelis Oswego Supermodified feature with the same car used on Friday will be guaranteed $1,000 to start.

FULTON, NY – Saturday night, fantastic weather set the stage for seven thrilling feature events on Neivel Precision Plumbing night. A pair of features heldover from June 8 would start the night’s activity with Chris Mackey taking home a satisfying win in Tracey Road Modified competition and Fulton’s Cale Gareau capturing his first ever E & V Energy Novice Sportsman win.

OSWEGO – In a contest where defense was the name of the game, the Oswego River Hawks edged the hometown Utica Yeti 9-6 on Friday night at the Nexus Center. The win brought Oswego’s divisional record to 3-1, while the Yeti dropped to 1-4. The Yeti jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first quarter, but Pavel Srch put Oswego on the board on an assist from Dylan Smith with just over four minutes remaining in the first frame.
