    Artists are quick on the draw in KIFA competition

    STEVENSVILLE — Artists participated in the Kent Island Federation of Arts Plein Air “Quick Draw Competition” in historic downtown Stevensville, June 1. Judge Maureen Bannon gauged the many works of historic landmarks and Stevensville scenes.

    Arts & Entertainment District Board Member Becky Jones presented a check to first place winner, artist Yik Chek Phan, for her watercolor of Peace of Cake, second place winner, artist Ronaldo Dorado, for his watercolor of the Stevensville Train Station and Caboose, and third place winner, artist Amy Mollman for her oil painting of Kent Island Federation of Arts.
