A lot of states lay claim to the lore around Paul Bunyan . But do they have a giant statue of Paul Bunyan? They do? Ok. But were their statues in Fargo ? Checkmate, Maine.

They also don't have Stillwater 's Lumberjack Days , which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. The three-day festival, which runs from July 19–21, features a parade, medallion hunt, live music, BMX stunt show, and, because we're talking about lumberjacks, a pancake feed.

Here's everything you need to know about this year's Lumberjack Days.

Where is Lumberjack Days taking place?

Lumberjack Days takes place July 19–21 around Lowell Park in downtown Stillwater.

How much does it cost to attend?

Lumberjack Days is largely free to attend. There are, however, $50 VIP tickets for the concerts on Friday and Saturday. There is also a VIP spirits tasting event on Saturday, which costs an additional $25.

    Who is playing?

Friday's lineup is headlined by Chase & Ovation, a Prince tribute band. (Well timed, with the 40th anniversary of Purple Rain just days away.) The show will also feature Jerrod Niemann, Love & Theft, Stevie Monce, Pryor Baird, Julia James, and Dave Burkhart.

Saturday's concert has some repeat shows, with Love & Theft, Julia James, Stevie Monce, and Dave Burkhart playing both days. Canaan Smith, Craig Campbel, Mitch Clark, and Austyn James will also perform on Saturday.

When is the Lumberjack Days Parade?

The final day of Lumberjack Days features a parade through downtown with marching bands, fire trucks, floats, and, undoubtedly, plenty of candy scattered across the street. The parade runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

What else is happening at Lumberjack Days?

There's a long, long list of events, including the Down Hill Derby at 2 p.m. on Friday, a Saturday morning pancake breakfast at South Lowell Park, BMX stunt shows on Saturday (11 a.m. and 1 p.m.) and Sunday (12 p.m. and 2 p.m.), the Game World Area for kids with inflatables and obstacle courses, lumberjack shows multiple times each day, and the opportunity to take photos with a mini (but still quite tall) Paul Bunyan.
