A pair of Oklahoma high school baseball standouts are set to compete for Team USA next month.

Fort Cobb-Broxton's Eli Willits and Stillwater's Ethan Holliday were named to USA Baseball's 18U National Team on Sunday and will compete in the World Baseball Softball Confederation 2024 U-18 Baseball World Cup Americas Qualifier in Panama City, Panama.

The event is set for Aug. 2-11, and 20 players from around the country were selected.

Willits and Holliday are both infielders.

Willits, an OU commit, is coming off his sophomore year but is reclassified into the 2025 class. This past season, he had a .614 batting average with 10 home runs and 30 RBIs while helping Fort Cobb-Broxton win its second straight Class B state title. The Mustangs have also won two consecutive fall championships.

Holliday, who is entering his senior year, was named The Oklahoman's 2024 All-State Player of the Year. The Oklahoma State commit and son of former MLB All-Star Matt Holliday led Stillwater to the Class 6A state semifinals, finishing with a .402 batting average, 12 home runs and 40 RBIs.
