Paradise to revamp all public roads by 2026, following 2018 Camp Fire damage
PARADISE, Calif. — The Town of Paradise prioritizes its roads by providing what is considered a much-needed revamping all over the ridge. The roads in the Town of Paradise took a major hit during and after the 2018 Camp Fire. From damage to wear and tear from debris and tree removal trucks, an upgrade is needed. After securing funding from the Federal Highway Administration (FHA) the town has a plan to give every single public road in Paradise a much-needed upgrade.
Paradise to hold special closed session for town manager evaluation
PARADISE — After a year of working for the town of Paradise, Town Manager Jim Goodwin is set to have a performance evaluation in a special meeting Tuesday morning. Goodwin took over for Marc Mattox in July 2023 who had been serving in the role temporarily as the town searched for a new manager.
