7-2-24 grand oshkosh announces 2024-25 season
OSHKOSH- The Grand Oshkosh announced its 2024-2025 season and, until August 1, tickets are available now on presale to Grand Donors. Including performances from family favorites, tremendous tributes, shows back by popular demand, a whole lineup for the “spooky season,” and performances by more local artists, this season gives every audience a reason to return to The Grand Oshkosh. A featured new aspect of this season includes earlier start times to Grand-Presented events allowing for select performances to have AfterGlows in The Grand Lounge immediately following the main stage show with performances by local musicians. Director of The Grand Oshkosh, Joseph Ferlo said, “The AfterGlow is a win-win proposition. For audience members who want to enjoy a great show and still be home at an earlier hour, the 7 PM start time is ideal. But, for audience members who want to continue their evening after the curtain falls, there is an opportunity to do that without leaving The Grand, instead, heading to The Grand Lounge for a “night cap” featuring one of the tremendous artists who call Oshkosh and the Fox Valley ‘home’.” Adding to the programming lineup is the ArtREACH series which allows The Grand to bring artists out into the community to connect with people who may not otherwise have access to the arts. In past seasons, it has impacted thousands of community members including youth, seniors, and underserved communities. This season, it is projected to double in impact through extended artist residencies. Returning series include the 20 th Anniversary of the Alberta S. Kimball Foundation 5-Star series, The Family Series, and the longest-running educational arts program in the Fox Valley, the 31st Annual Amcor Student Discovery Series- this year opened up to the general public. Additionally, Haunted Happenings will return in October 2024 with 31 days of Halloween-themed events that allow The Grand to embrace not only its rich history, but its haunted past as well.
