Stockton: 2 Killed In Car Crash Sunday Night

A two-vehicle car crash Sunday night in Stockton left two people dead, police said.

Officers responded at 9:22 p.m. to West Lane and Fulton Street on a report of a vehicle collision.

Police said two people from one of the vehicles were taken to a hospital, where they later died from their injuries.

The identification of the two people had not been released as of Monday afternoon by the San Joaquin County Medical Examiner's Office.

Traffic investigators responded to the scene but information on what caused the collision was not released.
