A 27-year-old woman from Holmen will avoid a trial for reckless homicide, with a plea agreement before a La Crosse judge. Rachel Brockway entered the plea on Tuesday, admitting to providing a mix of drugs to her boyfriend in February of last year. The man died after taking the drugs in a parking lot, and an autopsy found both fentanyl and heroin in his body.
