Two new dining spots have opened in Rockland with two more opening soon. Read below for details.
Sazon Y Pilon Kitchen & Bar, in New City for a little over a year, is opening a second location in Stony Point July 27.
The restaurant, which features Puerto Rican and Dominican cuisine, is owned by two married couples, New City residents Gabriel and Erika Medina and Anibal and Luz Pichardo. Diners can expect a similar menu to New City with signature dishes such as mofongo, pernil, arroz con gandules and tostones rellenos. Tropical drinks are also a big focus.

Enjoy a refreshing drink while you shop. Taichi Bubble Tea opened July 16 on Level Four next to Chili's. Trata on the River, Piermont: The old Pier 701 has been transformed into a taste of the Mediterranean, complete with an outdoor bar and should hopefully open by late July. The new spot is owned by longtime restaurateur AnnMaria Adinolfi, who owns Elia Restaurant and Annamaria's Deli in East Rutherford, New Jersey. 701 Piermont Ave .
Trattoria Da Vittorio, Piermont: Expect a variety of affettati, stuzzichini, pastas and pizza Napolitano sometime in mid-August from Vittorio Lanni, the owner/chef behind Lanni's Cucina Verace in Sparkill. 453 Piermont Ave.
