'I just kept trying': This Stoughton teen learned to ride a bicycle with just one wheel

STOUGHTON — After the front wheel of his bike broke, Jordan Buker, 14, of Stoughton, learned to ride with just one wheel.

Jordan, who will be a freshman at Stoughton High School this fall, likes to ride his bike with his friends around town.

One day, Jordan was riding his bike in Brockton when the front axle broke.

"I didn't have the money to pay for it, so I had to learn to ride with one wheel," Jordan said.

"I just kept trying. I did it for a little bit and I would lose my balance and I kept going and going," he said.

Longtime Enterprise photographer Marc Vasconcellos was driving through Stoughton during his shift on Saturday when he spotted Jordan and took a quick picture as he rode the bike through the town center. The picture received hundreds of reactions on social media, with many calling it "impressive," others saying he was "talented" and some commending Jordan for being "resourceful."

Jordan says that although he will be getting his bike this week, he will probably continue to ride without the support of the front wheel.
