31-year-old woman dies in head-on collision in N.H.
The investigation remains ongoing. A head-on crash in Epping, New Hampshire, on Sunday left one driver dead and the other with serious injuries, police say. At approximately 1 a.m., the Epping police and fire departments were dispatched to Route 125 at the Pondside Motel, according to a statement from the Epping Police Department.

Hampton woman faces charges for firing gun at neighbor's front door
HAMPTON — A woman is facing criminal charges after allegedly firing a gun in an apartment building Friday morning, where the bullet went through her neighbor's front door. Erin McCarthy, 38, of Hampton, was charged with reckless conduct, criminal threatening with a deadly weapon and domestic violence criminal threatening with a deadly weapon.
Seabrook heroes: Officers honored for life-saving actions
SEABROOK — Three Seabrook police officers were honored recently with their department’s Life Saving Awards for their responses to life and death situations. Seabrook Police Chief Brett Walker said officers Timothy Scott, Richard Hines and Tyler Houldsworth went “above and beyond the call of duty” by immediately administering life-saving medical care to victims before the arrival of Seabrook’s Fire Department personnel. Their quick thinking and willingness to provide care without delay, according to Walker, may have prevented the victims from suffering more dire consequences from their injuries, including loss of life.
NH Air National Guard commander remembered after being killed in hit-and-run crash
NEWINGTON, N.H. (WHDH) - A New Hampshire Air National Guard commander was laid to rest Friday after he was killed in a hit-and-run crash earlier this month. Brig. Gen. John Pogorek, 57, died on July 8 after a car hit him while he was stopped on the side of a road in Rochester, New Hampshire. Rochester police said Pogorek was resecuring a load on a trailer attached to his truck when he was hit.
