Sonic 3 Trailer – Release Time, How To Watch

Sonic the Hedgehog is returning to the big screen later this year, and the movie from Paramount Pictures has teased that the first preview will arrive today in the form of a brand-new trailer.

Starring a voice cast that includes Ben Schwartz as Sonic, Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Tails, Idris Elba as Knuckles, and Keanu Reeves as Shadow, Sonic 3 will be a follow-up to the 2022 film, which saw Sonic, Knuckles and Tails go up against Dr. Robotnik.

While plot details for the third chapter in the Sonic story remain under wraps, we did get our first picture of Shadow back in November 2023.

Since then, however, updates have been sparse. What we do know, however, is that Sonic 3 is set to zoom into theaters on December 20.

The official X (formerly known as Twitter) account for the movie released a fast-paced preview showing Sonic around the world before revealing that the trailer is coming, and we have the details on when and where you can watch it.

Sonic 3 's trailer releases today, August 27, at 6 am PDT / 8 am CDT / 9 am EDT / 2 pm BST.

Sonic 3 's trailer will be available to watch from 6 am PDT / 8 am CDT / 9 am EDT / 2 pm BST on Paramount Pictures YouTube channel, as well as their social media channels @ParamountPics on X, TikTok and Instagram.
