Racing drivers arrested for reckless speeding in Port St. Lucie
PORT ST. LUCIE, Florida — Two drivers were arrested for racing and reckless driving on US Highway 1, police say. Last night, members of the Port St. Lucie Police Department Traffic Unit, including one on a BMW R 1250 RT-P motorcycle, were conducting speed enforcement in the 9900 block of US Highway 1 when they witnessed two vehicles traveling over 87 mph in a 45 mph zone.
