Banjoist Alison Brown Coming to Stuart

Grammy Award-winning banjoist and Banjo Hall of Fame member Alison Brown will perform The Lyric Theatre in Stuart on March 16 .

The former investment banker-turned-musician and producer is co-founder of the Nashville-based Compass Records Group, which is celebrating its twenty-ninth anniversary this year.

During her Stuart show, Brown will present songs from her newest release, On Banjo , which features collaborations with an eclectic cast of musicians including Steve Martin, Anat Cohen, Kronos Quartet, Sierra Hull, and more. She’ll be joined by longtime members of her touring quintet, including flautist John Ragusa, pianist Mason Embry, bassist Garry West, and drummer Bryan Brock.
