COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) A Columbia man was found guilty on Tuesday in federal court for a drug crime, according to a press release from the Department of Justice. Michael Hunt, 43, was found guilty of possessing fentanyl with the intent to distribute. The release says that Hunt was planning to bring fentanyl from Columbia to Springfield, Missouri. The following incidents/arrests were investigated by the Moberly Police Department between the hours of 7am on 7/12/24 and 7am 7/15/24. On July 12, 2024, Moberly Officers responded to the 800 block of Concannon St in reference to an assault. The victim told officers that 18-year-old Stephen Kuykendall stuck her numerous times in the face and back of the head. Kuykendall was placed under arrest for domestic assault and transported to the Randolph County Jail.

BOONE CO., Mo. (KCTV) - A Columbia man who was unable to swim drowned after his canoe flipped in a private pond south of Harrisburg over the weekend. Suspected Columbia crack cocaine dealer sentenced to probation
A suspected crack dealer from Columbia is sentenced to probation. Robert Jennings was arrested in 2023 and charged with two counts of second-degree drug trafficking. But on Monday, he pleaded down to two counts of delivery of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to five years supervised probation on both counts. If he violates the conditions of his probation, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
