Artful nail designs, intricate press ons, and must-see manicures were all the rage throughout the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Team USA’s star athletes proudly showcased their pride on their talons, making patriotism as glamorous as ever.

Sha’Carri Richardson came out the gate swinging, rocking coffin-shaped acrylics adorned with the American flag at the opening ceremony on July 26. She went on to smoke her Olympic debut during round 1 of the women’s track and field 100-meter with a completely different set a few days later, showing off a multicolored mosaic-like design . Richardson switched it up again for the women’s 100-meter final on August 3, winning the silver medal with an equally impressive bejeweled set.

Jordan Chiles also served up #bignailenergy. When she won a bronze medal for her women’s gymnastics floor routine on August 5, Chiles flaunted a squared manicure with pink and blue patterned french tips that curved slightly towards the fold of her nail.

Other athletes who nailed it during the big games include Simone Biles , Suni Lee , Noah Lyles , and Coco Gauff . So what is the biggest takeaway, you ask? Expressing yourself via nail art is this year’s hottest trend and beauty was gold at the 2024 Olympics.
