Simone Biles is asking everyone to chill out. Weeks after she won four medals at the 2024 Olympics, she gave an update on if she’s going to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, after her record-breaking appearance in Paris.

The 11-time Olympic-winning gymnast went on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon to talk about her accomplishments when the late-night host grilled her on her status for the upcoming summer Olympics. “Everybody wants to know this question,” she replied. “Can’t I live? First, I’m getting older … 27 is a little bit old for a gymnast,” Biles said, and Fallon said that she was like a “baby.”

She expanded, “In real life, like, aging like fine wine, But for a gymnast , old. Outside of gym, oh yeah, I’m young! Tequila. No hangover. But in the gym, I am old.” She then added in a solution, “Maybe if we do, like, tag? If we could do tag beam, vault, floor, bars. Like, tag somebody else?”

Earlier in August, Simone did in fact reveal that she was going to retire a signature move. “Is this my last? Definitely [my final] Yurchenko double pike,” Biles said during a press conference. “I mean, I kinda nailed that one. … The next Olympics is at home [in Los Angeles]. So, you just never know. But I am getting really old.”

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Simone Biles won three gold medals in All-Around, Team, Vault and one silver medal in Floor Exercise— making her the most decorated US Gymnast in history. Biles told the Associated Press that she’s not thinking about the long-term after her historic wins.

“I would never say never and I think that would be amazing to (do this) after every Olympic cycle,” Biles said, referring to her post-Olympics Gold Over America Tour. “I think that would be a beautiful thing. But right now I can’t tell you yes or no. Like no definitive answers because I don’t know what life will look like in the next few years to come.”
