    Former Green Bay Packers coach, now with Patriots, sells Suamico house

    SUAMICO – Former Green Bay Packers coach Jerry Montgomery sold his house in Suamico for $815,000. It was on the market for a little more than two months.

    Montgomery, who was defensive line coach and running game coordinator for the Packers, sold the house at 2911 Moose Creek Trail on July 9, according to Brown County land records. He bought the house in 2016 for $483,000. It was originally listed in May for $899,900.

    The five-bedroom, 3-1/2-bath house was formerly owned by ex-Packers Scott Wells and Mason Crosby. It has a two-story great room with gas fireplace, finished walk-out lower level, wet bar, three-season sunroom, and a large, 3-1/2-stall heated garage. The property also includes two fenced-in lots.

    Montgomery joined the Packers in 2015 as defensive front assistant. He was named defensive line coach in 2018 and had running game coordinator added to his duties in 2022. He chose not to return to the Packers after the 2023 season and signed with the Patriots.

    Montgomery was a four-year starter in college for the Iowa Hawkeyes. He attended the New Orleans Saints training camp in 2002, but did not make the team. He played three years of arena football and also began is coach career in 2003. He coached at six colleges and universities before joining the Packers. He agreed to be assistant head coach and defensive line coach for Texas A&M in 2018, but ultimately opted to remain with the Packers.

    • 1750 Limestone Trail, Ledgeview, owned by former Packers running back Ahman Green. The house, which includes five bedrooms, 4½ bathrooms and a four-car garage, is on 1.21 acres. It is listed for $1.7 million. Green is retired from football. Amanda Bohn of Make A Move Realty LLC is the listing agent.
    • 1071 Hill Drive in Hobart , owned by former Packers defensive end Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila. The property, which includes a main house and guest house with a total of 14 bedrooms and 14½ bathrooms, lists for $3.988 million. Gbaja-Biamila is retired from football. Jen Kuo of Platinum Real Estate is the listing agent.
    • 2865 Shelter Creek Court in Green Bay, owned by former Packers safety Adrian Amos. The five-bedroom, five-bathroom house on a 1.89-acre lot on the far southwest side of Green Bay listed for $785,000. Amos played for the New York Jets and Houston Texans in 2023. He is a free agent. Lisa Ashley of Mahler Sotheby's International Realty is the listing agent.
