    Juvenile struck by vehicle in Suffield: Police

    SUFFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Suffield police say a juvenile was injured after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday night.

    Police said the crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the area of Route 159/Mapleton Avenue and Hickory Street, just south of the Massachusetts state line.

    Police said the juvenile was walking south when they were struck by a vehicle traveling in the same direction.

    The juvenile was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.

    Just before 6 a.m. Thursday, police said Mapleton Avenue was reopen.

    The North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad is investigating the crash.
