SUFFOLK, Virginia — Suffolk Fire and Rescue responded to the 300 Block of Webb Street for a residential structure fire. The incident was dispatched by Suffolk Emergency Communications Dispatch Center at 2:05 a.m.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found heavy fire and smoke showing from the single-story detached residential structure. The house adjacent to the burning home was also ablaze. There were no injuries reported among firefighters, other citizens, or occupants. The American Red Cross is providing assistance to the displaced occupant.
