    Eggstravaganza moves inside due to forecast

    SUFFOLK, VA – Same date, same times, new indoor location. Due to impending inclement weather, Suffolk Parks & Recreation has adjusted the location of Saturday’s Eggstravaganza event. This egg-citing, free event will be held indoors at the Creekside Recreation Center, 1000 Bennetts Creek Park Rd., on Saturday, March 23, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

    Enjoy crafts, music, bounce houses, fairy hair & more. Peter Cottontail will arrive to this eggs-trordinary event at 11:15 a.m.! Egg Hunts will be held at 12 p.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1 p.m. Each time slot will host hunts for children of all ages. We’re also introducing a therapeutic recreation hunt this year!

    Bags will be provided for egg collection to ensure all participants get an equal number of eggs. Use of personal baskets will not be permitted. Food and vendor items will be available for purchase. To gear up for the event, follow us on Facebook to see egg-stra jokes daily, now through March 23!
