Brazell selected to the THSBCA All-State team

COLLEGE STATION — Recent Sulphur Bluff High School graduate Gavin Brazell has been named to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association (THSBCA) 1A All-State team. He earned the honors after an outstanding senior season on the diamond.

Brazell is one of only 15 players in the entire state to be named to the 1A All-State team. This marks his third consecutive year earning All-State honors, and his first time earning recognition from the THSBCA.

Brazell, the Bears’ everyday catcher, enjoyed a great senior season, helping the Bears earn an undefeated district championship and reach the Regional Quarterfinals. He also pitched and played first base for the Bears.

With this award, Brazell adds another accolade to his high school baseball resume. He also earns his third All-State selection.
