130 participate in Wildcat Baseball Camp

Future of SS baseball is in good hands

Baseball has been described as “America’s pastime” for a long time now. In Sulphur Springs, interest in baseball appears to still be strong, as 130 campers showed for Wildcat Baseball Camp.

The annual camp, held June 4-6 in the Multipurpose Building, was a huge success.

During the camp, campers worked on the fundamentals of baseball, including base running, bunting, hitting, infield and outfield running, pitching, catching and fielding. Other skills were also fine-tuned for campers on elite baseball teams.
