| Saturday Car Show

• Gordon Phillips of Quitman drove his 2013 Boss 302 Mustang to the Car Show at First Baptist Church-Sulphur Springs on June 15.
• Vintage to modern vehicles were included in the show, called Abboe's Collission Center Presents Father's Day Weekend Car Show June 15 in First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs' parking lot. All proceeds raised from the car show will go to the Car Care Ministry of First Baptist Church of Sulhur Springs. The show was a full 31 class show, with awards presented to the two top cars in each class.
• Roger and Trish Roulette of Sulphur Springs showed off their 1975 Chevy Corvair.
• One of the entries in the June 15 was a yellow 1970 Mustang.
• Bobby Singleton, a local classic car enthusiast, served as organizer of the June 15 car show on the north parking lot of First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs. Singleton is a member of the FBC Men's Bible Class Car Club. He shared that several members who have classic cars enjoy working on them and showing them off. The group also shares vehicle repair knowledge with church members who need help.
