Man impersonates WDFW employee, steals boat motors totaling nearly $60,000
BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A man accused of posing as a public employee to steal boat motors in several cities, including Bellingham, has been arrested. The state Attorney General’s Office says 38-year-old Victor Matt was charged with several counts of theft and forgery in Snohomish County Superior Court.

Maple Falls man receives an extra 5 years in prison due to use of a firearm in committing crimes
MAPLE FALLS, Wash. — Matthew Alan Bentley, age 38, was recently found guilty by a jury in Whatcom County Superior Court of 2 felony counts of 1st-degree assault with a deadly weapon and 2nd-degree unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
