Summersville Fire Department puts light rescue truck up for sale

SUMMERSVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Summersville Fire Department has announced the sale of its light rescue truck.

The vehicle in question is a 2008 Chevrolet 3500 HD with 46,250 miles on the odometer, though this number is expected to increase as the truck remains in active service.

Equipped with a 6.6 Duramax diesel motor, Allison transmission, and 4×4 capabilities, the truck features a walk-in utility bed with internal shelving, a night scan scene light, and front and back winch receivers.

It is also outfitted with full emergency lights, a siren, and a traffic bar mounted on the rear.

The truck will be available once its replacement is in service.

If a fire department does not purchase the vehicle, the emergency lights will be removed before the sale.
