    Sun City Republican Club covers variety of topics

    The Sun City Republican Club met July 16 at the Sundial Recreation Center where Eddie Cook, Maricopa County assessor candidate, brought information for seniors on how to apply helpful aids for their properties.

    Frank Carroll, candidate for LD28 Arizona Senate, brought an update on bills passed in the last legislative session and Beverly Pingerelli, LD 28 Arizona House candidate, also informed attendees of bills passed in the 2024 legislative session.

    Olivia Escobedo brought a PowerPoint discussing the Arizona Access proposition headed for the November ballot. She encouraged members to be aware and promote the initiative “It Goes To Far.”

    The next Sun City Republican Club meeting will be Aug. 20 with Aaron Flannery, from the Maricopa Recorder’s Office, who will bring an update on the 2024 primary election. In addition, Blake Nicholson will present an introduction on “AI.”

    The club meets at the Sundial center’s East Hall, 14801 N. 103rd Ave. Social time begins at 6 p.m. and the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. RCSC card holders and their guests are welcome.
