Sun City West Republican Club hosts 5 candidates at next meeting

The Sun City West Republican Club will meet Saturday, June 1, at Church on the Green, 19051 R.H. Johnson Blvd.

Social time is at 8:30 a.m. with coffee and donuts available, and the meeting starts at 9 a.m. (doors open at 8 a.m.) Paid-up members are admitted without a donation; $3 will be accepted at the door from non-members, which helps to pay for the room rental.

As 2024 is an election year, the Republican Club meetings provide an opportunity to meet candidates personally before the primary in late July and the general election in November.

This month there will be five main speakers: Blake Masters, running for United States Congress to represent Arizona’s 8th Congressional District; Mike Crawford, running for Maricopa County sheriff; Nickie Kelley, running for Maricopa County school superintendent; and Don Hiatt and Justin Heap, both running for Maricopa County recorder.

All Republicans and Independents from the Sun Cities and surrounding areas are welcome to attend Sun City West Republican Club meetings.
