Rafters pick up 'Fourth of July' win over Mallards
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAW) - The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters celebrated Independence Day with a victory on Thursday, taking down Madison 12-4 at Witter Field. MADISON, Wis. – Brookfield Central and Brookfield Academy captured State Team Boys Tennis Championships Saturday at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium on the campus of UW-Madison. The top-seeded Lancers (25-2) won team championship with a 4-3 win over second-seeded Marquette (22-3) in the Division 1 championship match. Brookfield Central won all four singles matches.
