Man shot in the abdomen in St. Paul, police investigating
ST. PAUL, Minn. — St. Paul police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday evening. The shooting happened near the 800 block of Rice Street around 5:45 p.m.When police arrived on the scene they found a man with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was conscious at the time. First responders transported the man to a local hospital. His condition is unknown.
St. Paul man found guilty of helping son hide bodies in Wisconsin
MENOMONIE, Wis. — The man accused of helping his son hide the bodies of four people in a western Wisconsin cornfield has been found guilty Wednesday by a jury. Darren L. Osborne was charged with four counts of hiding a corpse - party to a crime. His son, Antoine Suggs, was convicted of fatally shooting a group of friends in St. Paul.

Man sentenced to 8 years in violent armed carjacking incidents
MINNEAPOLIS — A Bemidji man will serve a prison sentence of just over eight years after pleading guilty to a pair of violent carjacking incidents in the Twin Cities metro. The Hennepin County Attorney's Office (HCAO) says 22-year-old Justin Lee Brun was sentenced to 99 months Monday after pleading guilty to three counts of first-degree aggravated robbery in connection with the incidents, which occurred in February and March of 2021.
Officials: Off-duty deputy caused head-on crash with alcohol involved
AFTON, Minn. — An off-duty deputy with the Washington County Sheriff's Office caused a crash where alcohol was involved, according to authorities.The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash occurred Sunday at around 10:39 a.m. in Afton on Highway 95 at Scenic Lane. There, a 58-year-old Hastings man driving a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek was traveling northbound on the highway when he crossed over the center line and collided head-on with a 2022 Ford Expedition, the patrol said.
