Surprise offering youth sports leagues in fall

The city of Surprise Parks and Recreation Department is offering youth soccer, tee-ball, baseball, softball and volleyball leagues along with sports skills classes and camps this fall.

Registration runs through July 19. Late registration starts July 20.

Youth Soccer, Tee-ball, Baseball, Softball & Volleyball:

• Leagues for boys and girls ages 4 to 17 (determined on or before Nov. 30, 2024)
• Season starts in early September and runs until early November
• Games are played on Saturdays and/or weeknights
• Practice times are up to the volunteer coach, usually one-hour once a week (5:30, 6:30 or 7:30 p.m.)

Sports Skills Classes and Camps:

• Surprise is offering a variety of six-week skills classes for ages 6 to 15. Soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, football skills classes will be offered August through December.
• Sports camps will be offered for ages 7 to 15.
