KELT to fund several George Wright Road projects
Ruth Indrick, project director for Kennebec Estuary Land Trust (KELT), updated the Woolwich selectboard July 11 on changes planned for the lower end of George Wright Road. The multifaceted project which has been in the planning phase the past few years will be funded through a combination of grants totaling about $3.5 million.

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Southwesterly flow will keep the heat and humidity going the next few days. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds today with a slight chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm popping up this afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s to low 80s along the coast due to the southwest wind but inland locales will reach the mid-80s to around 90°. Dew points will be in the mid-60s to around 70° today which will make it feel a bit hotter. An upper-level disturbance will cross the state tonight bringing us a chance for some scattered showers and thunderstorms during the overnight. Temperatures will drop to the mid-60s to around 70° for nighttime lows.
