Greece American Legion 13th Annual Warrior Benefit Concert
The Annual Warrior Benefit Concert at the American Legion, 344 Dorsey Road, Greece, will be held Saturday August 10, 9AM t0 9PM. A day of music, food and fun for all ages. Funds raised will assist wounded men and women in the military recovering at military hospitals and rehabilitation centers on the east coast.This year funds will benefit the Patriot Guard Riders NY Help on the Homefront programs, Monroe County War on Terror Memorial located in Highland Park, and American Legion Greece Post 468 veterans assistance programs.
Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf Requests Donations
Summertime brings a higher demand for food for those in need. Please help fill the empty shelves at the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf. Boxed pasta, chunky soup, rice mixes, mac and cheese mix, oatmeal, canned veggies and fruits, stuffing mix, gravy, and baking mixes are most needed. Regular sizes, not large please.
Greece CSD Summer Food Service Program
The Greece CSD announces its participation in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Meals will be provided to all children 18 years and under without charge. In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity. Program information may be made available in languages other than English.
