    Sweetwater won 3-1 at San Angelo Lake View in District 3-4A volleyball action on Tuesday, splitting the first two games until winning 25-14 and 25-21 the last two. The team is 3-3 in District 3-4A play and returns home for a noon match with Levelland on Saturday. Read more

    Regular Flu Shots Available at Sweetwater Nolan County Health Department

    Regular Flu shots are available at the Sweetwater-Nolan County Health Department (SNCHD) on Wednesdays during regular immunization clinics. The cost is $25, Medicare Part B accepted. SNCHD has immunization clinic every Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and 1p.m. until 4:30p.m., on the second Wednesday of the month until 6 p.m. Children with no insurance, there is a $10 administration fee per a child, Medicaid, and CHIPS are accepted, through the Vaccine For Children program. We are currently out of the high dose flu vaccine; we are expecting a shipment toward the end of the month. Read more

    After its 42-37 district opening win over Snyder this past week, Sweetwater faces another 1-4A foe this week with a 7 p.m. game Friday at Midland Greenwood. Sweetwater brings a 4-3 overall record into the game while Greenwood, which won 42-17 over Pecos to start district, is 3-3. Read more
