Convicted killer escapee Ramone Alston caught in Kannapolis
ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — Escaped inmate Ramone Alston is now back behind bars and facing additional charges. Investigators say they arrested him shortly before 2 am Friday at a hotel in Kannapolis. The operation involved Charlotte SWAT agents, the FBI and Kannapolis Police. After arresting Alston, law enforcement also arrested his female acquaintance from Alamance County Jacobia Crisp. She is charged with felony aiding and abetting a fugitive.
