BCSN announces 'Gameday Tailgate' sites for 2024 season

BCSN has announced its Gameday Tailgate/Game of the Week sites for the 2024 high school football season.

GameDay Tailgate airs live at 6:30 p.m. from the BCSN Game of the Week each Friday on BCSN, the NLL Network powered by BCSN, and the BCSN+ app.

Weeks 1 to 4 are solidified with a Sylvania rivalry matchup of Southview at Northview on Aug. 23, followed by Whitmer at Central Catholic on Aug. 30, Springfield at Start on Sept. 6, and Findlay at Clay on Sept. 13.

GameDay Tailgate will make its first-ever appearances at Start in Week 3 and Clay in Week 4.

“BCSN’s GameDay Tailgate has become a destination for high school football fans,” BCSN program director and anchor Justin Feldkamp said. “Our goal is to make that show and that game an event each and every Friday night. The student sections, bands, and cheerleaders are right behind our live TV setup and they’re always decked out in school colors and face paint. They truly bring excitement to the pregame atmosphere.”

The 2024 on-air talent for GameDay Tailgate will be Feldkamp alongside analysts Matt Kregel and Godfrey Lewis.

Weeks 5 to 10 are also scheduled but are subject to change if BCSN believes there is a more deserving game based on previous weeks' outcomes.

Week 5 (Sept. 20): St. Francis at St. John's

Week 6 (Sept. 27): Whitmer at Anthony Wayne

Week 7 (Oct. 4): Whitmer at Perrysburg

Week 8 (Oct. 11): Perrysburg at Findlay

Week 9 (Oct. 18): Clay at Southview

Week 10 (Oct. 25): Perrysburg at Anthony Wayne
