KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Both drivers were seriously injured after a pickup hit a tractor along a rural highway in Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that around 4:45 p.m. on Friday, July 19, emergency crews were called to the area of southbound Highway 65 and Mather Rd., south of Sedalia, with reports of a 2-vehicle collision.

An assault case involving a baseball umpire and a Camden County deputy is moved to another county. Neal Sidebottom, of Versailles, was arrested in May 2023 on charges of first-degree assault of a special victim and resisting arrest. The cybersecurity attack on the Superior Court of Los Angeles County began early Friday. Officials say it is not believed to be related to the faulty CrowdStrike software update that disrupted major operations around the world Friday. A preliminary investigation shows no evidence that users’ data was compromised. LA County’s Superior Court is the largest unified superior court in the United States. It serves 10 million residents over 36 courthouses. Nearly 1.2 million cases were filed and 2,200 jury trials were conducted in 2022.
