Barstool Sports, Others React to Viral UAlbany Men’s Lacrosse Tradition
The 2024 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament is less than one week away, and the UAlbany Great Danes men's lacrosse team is still alive in pursuit of a berth in the postseason. The Danes beat Merrimack by a score of 18-7 in the semifinals of the America East Tournament on Thursday night. They'll face Vermont in the finals on Saturday at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium, with a championship win and an NCAA tournament berth on the line.

The Albany girls golf finished 2nd to Pequot Lakes at the Granite Ridge Conference meet in Milaca. Pequot finished with a team score of 341, Albany had a scored of 354, Pierz 375, Cathedral 397, Milaca 399, Mora and Little Falls were not complete. Individually Pequot Lakes golfers Genevieve Birkland and Annie Neva finished 1st and 2nd shooting a 77 and 79 respectively. Albany's Sophia Anderson shot an 83, and Katelyn Hoff shot an 84. Siena men rally to knockoff Marist in MAAC Tournament
It was a second half of redemption for Siena men’s lacrosse. The Saints rallied back after trailing by two goals at halftime to dethrone the defending MAAC champions, Marist, with a 12-9 win on Saturday night at Tenney Stadium, avenging last season’s defeat in the MAAC title game to the Red Foxes.
Riders roll Schalmont in meeting of Top-10, state-ranked squads
The Ichabod Crane softball team has looked every bit the part of a two-time defending state champion this year. And halfway through the regular season, the Riders appear to have the pieces in place to make a run at a three-peat.
