Monticello Athlete of the Week: Brock Holthaus
Monticello High School junior Brock Holthaus is a menace for Magic baseball. Holthaus helped Monticello take down Becker 11-1 in five innings on Thursday, May 9. Against the Bulldogs, he went 2-for-3 at the plate with a walk, two RBI and three runs. He is tied for second on the team with 15 hits, tied for first with three triples, is second with 12 walks and is tied with Caden King for a team-high 14 RBI.
Monticello Spring Signing Day
Monticello High School saw five more student-athletes sign their National Letters of Intent to extend their athletic careers into the college ranks. Jack Geislinger, Dylan Janssen, Carson Callstrom, Jason Jones and Rose Urick all signed on Spring National Signing Day on Wednesday, May 8. School district inks new bus contract with Hoglund
MONTICELLO — Monticello Public Schools will be continuing their long-standing relationship with Hoglund Transportation Company.
