Kay Temple Stephens of Linden has received the Spirit of 1812 Award from the National Society United States Daughters of 1812, the local chapter of which she founded 10 years ago. 🚧 Overnight Closures Scheduled on I-30 in Texarkana for Repairs 🚧

Residents of Texarkana and surrounding areas are advised that there will be closures affecting the I-30 corridor tonight, April 24, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Specifically, the westbound I-30/I-369S/US 59S interchange will be completely closed to allow for necessary repairs. Additionally, the westbound lanes of I-30 will be partially closed, with one lane unavailable to traffic between Summerhill Rd and Cowhorn Creek extending to the stretch between University Ave and Kings Hwy. During this time, motorists will be able to use the westbound frontage road. Drivers are urged to plan their routes accordingly and exercise caution when traveling through the affected areas.
